Nepali film performing artist Jyoti Khadka, otherwise known as Jessica, conferred suicide on Tuesday morning, police said. She utilized a shawl to hang herself from the roof of her room. 

The 23-year-old performing artist, whose s*x-tape with drama craftsman Prakash Ojha was spilled in 2005, was living with her more youthful sibling Unique, in a leased flat at Jhhochen in New Road. Khadka had changed her name to Jessica taking after the outrage. 

Khadka's relatives discounted any association between the suicide and the sex-tape outrage, as they said the embarrassment happened quite a while back. 

"It was years prior and alongside the relatives, she too had become over it," said Yograj Khadka, Jessica's relative. As indicated by him, Jessica was a lively young lady and was doing great in the film business generally. "The episode can't be the purpose for her suicide," he said.
